Prof Ramachandra Bhat is a post-graduate in English literature.  Teaching Communicative English is his special interest.  In this area he has also organised many workshops and even attended many others as a resource person. 

Hailing from a humble background Prof Bhat believes in leading with example.  Hence, he was an  NSS programme officer for many years earlier. He organised many developmental programmes in a few villages. They include village adoption

Theatre has been his passion since student days.  He has enacted in and directed a few plays.
