The Chairman of Expert Educational and Charitable Foundation, Mangaluru, Prof. Narendra L. Nayak, hails from Sastan, a village near Udupi. Being a brilliant student, he completed his studies in Mechanical engineering from Mysore University obtaining 1st class with distinction. He is also good in commerce subjects as he has completed intermediate exams of ICWAI.

Prof. Nayak is an excellent musician since his childhood. He is the vice president of a Hindustani Classical music organization," Sangeet Bharati Foundation". Under his guidance top level programmes have already been conducted in Mangalore including the performances by legends like Pt. HariprasadChaurasia, Pt. Shivkumar Sharma, Ustad Zakir Hussain, Pt. Vishwamohan Bhatt, Ustad Rashid Khan, Ustad Sultan Khan, Ghazal singer Hariharan and many more. Being a graded artist of All India Radio and Doordarshan in Hindustani Classical Music, Prof. Nayak is also proficient in playing harmonium from childhood and even now he is accompanies stalwart vocalists and has given performances in most of the prestigious music festivals in India.

As a diligent teacher, Prof.Nayak takes a keen interest in the welfare of his students. (Prior to admission, he personally interviews and counsels every student along with parents to assess the candidate's aptitudes and capabilities and recommend the suitable batch to the student.) A very talented musician, he also has the distinction of accompanying many reputed classical artistes by playing the harmonium.

Prof. Nayak was conferred with "Excellence in Education Award" in December 2005 by ‘The Indian Economic Development and Research Association’, New Delhi for the excellence in the field of Education.

He was also conferred with "Bharath Gauravaward" in January 2006 by ‘All India Business and Community Foundation’, New Delhi for the Excellence in Social and Community Development.

In this quest for excellence in education, Prof. Nayak is ably supported by his beloved wife, Mrs. UshaPrabha N. Nayak. A very resourceful person, she is equally responsible for the success of Expert Coaching Classes, where she not only takes up classes, but also co-ordinates the various activities of the institute.

Prof. Nayak now also enjoys the reputation as a successful author. He has been instrumental in designing the REFRESHER COURSE, published by EXPERT PUBLISHING HOUSE. He has authored a REFRESHER COURSE IN MATHEMATICS. These books are widely accepted by the student community throughout the state and are well accepted as an essential book for securing top marks in board exams as well as excelling in other competitive examinations.

With his uniqueness in teaching methodologies, he has successfully trained many Lecturers/Professors on how to improve the Art of Teaching.
